In addition to his clinical duties as a Medical Oncologist, Dr. Pollak is also the Director of the Cancer Prevention Centre. His research interests cover the broad spectrum of cancer risk and cancer prevention and his group carries out research in both population studies and laboratory models relevant to cancer risk. Dr. Pollak and his group collaborate and network extensively with colleagues at other major cancer centers, including Harvard University in Boston, MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, and the Fred Hutchison Cancer Center in Seattle.
