Dr. Michael Pollak was among the 100 world experts invited to attend the recent “think tank” on global cancer control held in Lugano, Switzerland, in order to prepare a consensus statement for World Cancer Day on February 4, 2013. For further information, please visit the World Oncology Forum.

Research

Research is a key activity of the Stroll Family Cancer Prevention Centre of the Segal Cancer Centre of the Jewish General Hospital. The research activities are integrated with the Cancer Prevention Division of the McGill Department of Oncology and the Lady Davis Institute.

Assay Lab

Dr. Pollak's assay lab specializes in hormone and peptide biomarker measurements of serum or plasma samples for biomedical research using ELISA methods, with over 15 years of experience providing assay services to a variety of users.
