BC Cancer Agency (BCCA)
The BC Cancer Agency’s mandate covers the spectrum of cancer care from prevention and screening, to diagnosis, treatment, and through to rehabilitation.

Canadian Cancer Society
The Canadian Cancer Society is the largest charitable funder of cancer research in Canada.

Cancer Care Ontario (CCO)
Cancer Care Ontario is an umbrella organization that steers and coordinates Ontario's cancer services and prevention efforts.

Cancer Care Nova Scotia (CCNS)
Cancer Care Nova Scotia is a program of the Nova Scotia Department of Health.

The website provides oncologist-approved cancer information from the American Society of Clinical Oncology. A highlight of this website for patient education is its Multimedia section. It contains free audio podcasts and videos on cancer, treatment, coping and many other topics. It also provides a gallery of full-color illustration of common sites where cancer occurs, searchable by cancer type. 

CancerQuest is a cancer education and outreach program at Emory University. The Patient Information section of its website provides reliable, easy-to-understand and authoritative information about cancer biology and treatment. The Education Center section contains several types of 'formal' and informal education tools (seminars, lectures, lesson plans) as well as videos about medical tests and interviews with cancer survivors and researchers.

Medline Plus

MedlinePlus will direct you to information to help answer health questions. MedlinePlus brings together authoritative information from the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and other government agencies and health-related organizations.

National Cancer Institute

The US Government's main agency for cancer research and training.

National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN)
The National Comprehensive Cancer Network is a not-for-profit alliance of 21 of the world's leading cancer centers that is dedicated to improving the quality and effectiveness of care provided to patients with cancer.

OncoLink was founded in 1994 by Penn cancer specialists with a mission to help cancer patients, families, health care professionals and the general public get accurate cancer-related information at no charge.

PubMed Health NEW
PubMed Health is a service provided by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at the NLM. It specializes in reviews of clinical effectiveness research, with easy-to-read summaries for consumers as well as full technical reports. Clinical effectiveness research finds answers to the question “What works?” in medical and health care.
